The Ministry of Labour, Industrial Relations, and Employment Creation held a meeting between Eagle Night Watch employees and their employer to find a solution to the labour dispute.

Workers at the company, which is a subcontractor at the Husab Uranium Mine, have accused the company of not complying with an affirmative action report submitted to the Employment Equity Commission.

Employment Equity Commissioner Otniel Podewiltz confirmed that workers brought their concerns to him in 2022, and a team was dispatched to investigate claims about non-compliance with the Affirmative Action Act.
