Members of the public will no longer have to physically go to the Education Ministry's offices to source information, thanks to the recently launched ministerial website.
The Ministry of Education, Arts, and Culture recently added this new development aimed at providing up-to-date information at the tip of a finger on its ministerial policies, programmes, and initiatives.
At the launch in the nbc's Studio 2, the Education, Arts, and Culture Ministry's Acting Executive Director, Knox Imbuwa, said stakeholders and public members will be updated on basic education, arts, and culture matters.
"The website features a frequently asked questions section, which will address common questions on pertinent ministerial matters. This will reduce the need for individuals to physically contact the ministry in search of information."
Imbuwa added that the website, whose address is www.moe.gov.na, will directly serve as a community engagement platform and host a dialogue on educational issues.
The website, he said, will be a useful platform for parents and learners to access crucial information such as school admissions, bursaries, and other educational information.
The page also features various online services, such as exam results and a link where public members can file complaints.
"Information such as reports, statistics, procurement, and capital projects will be available on the website, further enhancing transparency and accountability in education management and service delivery."
The website was designed by Omalaeti Technologies.
