Namibia's Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, observed a minute of silence in solidarity with the people of Palestine, calling on the international community to act.
"The Palestinian people are facing untold brutal and inhumane suffering as Israel deployed their war machinery by depriving and blocking all basic necessities to their livelihood, like food, water, electricity, fuel, and many others. We cannot remain silent when others are suffering, and we condemn in the strongest terms, and we are calling on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to take the necessary action to save the people of Palestine."
