Mobile Telecommunications Company (MTC) has concluded its Tech Innovation Bazaar this week, marking a pivotal step towards a digital landscape that accommodates diverse ideas and perspectives.
The event was aimed at fostering a world where innovation knows no boundaries, signifying the beginning of an unlimited future.
The event brought together visionaries, investors, industry leaders, mentors, partners, and innovators under one roof.
An enthusiastic 17-year-old self-taught programmer, Auwanga Enkali, achieved dual success, securing victory.
"My first idea was Calbine; it was to connect parents and schools and also a wider community, streamlining the process of trying to move away from letters because children don't give letters to parents. It is a platform that is multilingual; parents can read any language."
Enkali also claimed the UNDP Challenge.
"I have created an application website called AgriConnect Namibia; it's a market place for buyers and sellers to come together. Farmers can come and showcase their products."
The Innovation Bazaar proved to be a catalyst for collaboration, a launch pad for transformative ideas, and a nucleus for projects poised to redefine industries.
