Excitement is building as the Namibian under-15 boys and girls teams gear up to compete in the CAF African Schools Football Championship / COSAFA Qualifiers.

The tournament will kick off with their opening games against their Zambian counterparts at Gateway High School in Harare tomorrow morning at 10:00.

Following their first matches, the Namibian teams will then face off against Madagascar at 12:30 before taking on South Africa and Angola on Friday.

These matches will test the skills and abilities of the top young boys and girls in the under-15 age group from ten teams, all vying to be crowned champions of the region.

The tournament will span three days, culminating in the finals of both the Boys' and Girls' competitions on Saturday. On the opening day alone, a total of 20 fixtures will be played, with an additional 20 scheduled for Friday, marking the end of the group phase.

The winners of each pool in both the Boys' and Girls' competitions will then compete in the finals to determine the ultimate champion and the team that will advance to the continental finals next year.

The Girls' final will take place on Saturday at 10:00, followed by the Boys' final at 12:00.

The CAF African Schools Football Championship provides a platform for young talent to showcase their skills and represents an important step in their football development.
