The Roads Authority (RA) is on a road trip to create awareness about the Mobile Vehicle Testing Station.

nbc News team visited the Otjiwarongo Roadlock, where about six vehicles were tested.

The Roads Authority will be touring every corner of the country with a mobile vehicle testing station to bring services closer to the people while creating awareness at the station.

If the vehicle is not compliant in terms of road worthiness, it might be subjected to suspension, and if minor faults are found on the vehicle, owners will be advised to attend to the defects.

For now, the Road Authority will only be screening smaller vehicles.

The road trip started on November 17th, covering the coast and the southern parts of the country, and will continue until every other part of the country is covered.
