The family of 41-year-old Hilda Bloodstaan, whose body was discovered at Tulinawa in Swakopmund with a stab wound and her throat cut, is living in fear as her killer is still on the loose.
Bloodstaan was killed two days before Christmas, and the family members say they are constantly looking over their shoulders.
The mayor of Swakopmund, Dina Namubes, paid the family a visit.
"As the mayor of the town and the head of the council, and with the entire council, we are responsible for the well-being of the entire community, and whatever happens to the community directly affects the council. This was really not fair because every life matters, and it was not fair what happened to her."
The murder case is still under investigation.
