Namibia's coach, Collin Benjamin, shared his thoughts on the 4-0 loss against South Africa in their Group E clash.

In their second AFCON 2023 match, South Africa bounced back perfectly in Pool E with a clear victory over neighboring Namibia.

South Africa responded in style after their initial defeat in the opening match of the AFCON tournament to Mali in Ivory Coast. They beat Namibia's Brave Warriors 4-0 on Sunday evening.

The Namibian national side's coach, Collin Benjamin, shared his thoughts after the game.

Percy Tau, who was unlucky to miss a penalty in the 0-2 loss to Mali, was determined this time around. Tau converted his spot-kick in the 14th minute to open the scoring. Themba Zwane then came off the bench to score twice, giving South Africa a 3-0 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Bafana Bafana stepped up their attacks, a strategy that paid off as Maseko scored the 4th goal to round off the scoring and secure the biggest victory of this year's AFCON.

In other matches played yesterday, Morocco played to a 1-all draw with DRC, while Zambia and Tanzania also played out a 1-1 draw.

For match day 3 on Wednesday, January 24, South Africa will face Tunisia, while Namibia takes on Mali.
