Dignitaries, including the former President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, visited the residence of the late President Hage Geingob and expressed condolences to his widow, Monica Geingos, and children.

The mood continues to be sombre at Casa Rosalia as the family of the late President Geingob comes to terms with his passing.

DRC's former President Joseph Kabila consoled Geingos and the late Geingob's children, after which he signed the book of condolences.

The leadership of the Ondonga Traditional Authority, led by Omukwaniilwa Fillemon Shuumbwa, also shared words of encouragement with the widow and the entire Geingob and Kalondo families.

Several lawmakers in the National Assembly and National Council also comforted the family, as did Windhoek councillor Dr. Job Amupanda and wife Taimi.
