President Nangolo Mbumba says, while mourning the death of the late President Hage Geingob, that his values must be emulated and celebrated for the good neighbourliness and unity he championed.

President Mbumba was speaking at the State Memorial of Botswana in honour of Dr. Hage Geingob.

Windhoek residents and visitors are urged to follow state motorcade regulations during the official memorial service and burial this weekend to avoid potential penalties. Deputy Chief Adam Eiseb of the City Police Service shared these warnings on nbc's legal TV talk show, 'Wheels of Justice.'

Dignitaries, including the former President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, visited the residence of the late President Hage Geingob and expressed condolences to his widow, Monica Geingos, and children.
