The Namibia Football Association has written to the global football association FIFA to request an extension of the transfer window.
In the letter addressed to FIFA's Players' Status Department, the NFA is requesting an extension of the player transfer period, which opens tomorrow and closes next Friday, the 23rd of February.
The NFA's move is initiated by Article 6.2 of FIFA's registration period and regulations on the status of player transfers.
Some players have already started at their new clubs during the second period of transfer. However, those who have not done so are expected to make a move if the NFA receives a positive reply.
Action in the top-flight Debmarine Premiership and some lower divisions, which returned last weekend from the festive season, will continue on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
