Former Brave Gladiators coach and owner of the Kasaona Football Academy, Tuerikondjera Mamie Kasaona, is appealing for funds to pursue her CAF B Football license in Tanzania.
Mamie Kasaona, known for her passion and dedication to football, started her career playing for a German club called Germany's Westphalia Club and was a member of the national women's team. Currently, Kasaona is coaching her own club, consisting of six teams ranging from under 9 to under 19 years of age.
She aims to become only the second woman in Namibia to achieve the CAF B license, following in the footsteps of her mentor, Jaqueline Shipanga. Kasaona emphasizes the importance of having the required qualifications to enhance coaching abilities and bring the latest coaching analysis to the game.
Kasaona is reaching out to potential sponsors for financial assistance before the training course commences on the 25th of this month. She highlights the significance of this opportunity for her coaching career and stresses that obtaining the B license could potentially secure her position as the first female coach in the Premier League in Namibia.
If you are interested in supporting Mamie Kasaona's pursuit of her CAF B license, please reach out to her before the course begins.
