After a successful launch of the inaugural 3 on 3 Basketball Club Competition, the Khomas Basketball Association is looking at the prospect of expanding the competition to different regions of Namibia.

Having met the goals and objectives of the 3 on 3 Basketball Club Competition, the Khomas Basketball Association's management is exploring the possibility of introducing a 3 on 3 Basketball National League.

As per the KBA's Vice President, inventing an initiative of its kind will go a long way in diversifying basketball in Namibia.

Implementing the vision will be an easy task for the Khomas Basketball Association, as they have good relationships with regional basketball associations, which is a key aspect of smoothing the process. This is according to the KBA Development Officer, Melusi Linda.

The 3-on-3 basketball competition was launched on Friday by the Khomas Basketball Association and was warmly received by the basketball community in the capital.
