Schools from all 14 regions competed in the 2-day athletics championship in different sport codes such as track, javelin, discus throwing, long jump, and high jump, with a spot in the national schools team at stake.

The event, under the auspices of the Namibia Schools Sport Union (NSSU), showcased young athletes from across all 14 regions, displaying their talents in various sport codes and vying for a spot in the national team.

The atmosphere was filled with tension and joyful noise as students and parents cheered for the participants throughout. On the final day, athletes engaged in tense competitions aimed at first place. Organizers discussed their objectives for the event and the challenges faced during the two-day event.

The Nationals concluded with numerous records broken this year. Khomas dominated all sports codes, earning 40 gold medals, 28 silver, and 20 bronze medals. Otjozondjupa emerged in second place with 14 gold medals, 11 silver, and 13 bronze, while Hardap secured third place with 13 Gold, 13 Silver, and 13 bronze medals.
