To mark the 2024 World Menstrual Awareness Week, the 4x4 Initiative distributed sanitary pads to about 100 rural girls in the ||Kharas Region. 

The rural girls of St. Joseph Primary School at ǂGabes, Michael Durcocher Primary School at Warmbad and Bethanie Lutheran Church Hostel at Bethanie benefited from the sanitary pad donation. 

Sidney Boois, the founder of the 4x4 Initiative, established by men, says the gesture seeks to push the agenda of transformative masculinity and shift the focus within the area of male engagement programmes for gender equality.
