The Ministry of Gender Equality and Social Welfare has announced that all recipients of Basic State Grants (old age pensions, disability grants, and child disability grants) will see increased payments starting in August.

The payments will be backdated to April and will therefore include an additional N$800 for April, June, and July, totalling N$2,400.
