Independent Patriots for Change Member of Parliament Michael Mwashindange questioned delayed invoice payments for suppliers of goods and services by state entities.

The Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Emma Theofelus, is asking for social grant beneficiaries to remain patient while NamPost is processing their payments. 

The minister visited the Nampost branch at Divundu, Kavango East. 

The Ministry of Gender Equality and Social Welfare has announced that all recipients of Basic State Grants (old age pensions, disability grants, and child disability grants) will see increased payments starting in August.

A veteran of the liberation struggle, Mathew Shivute, from Amaupa Village in the Omusati Region, has appealed to the Ministry of Veterans Affairs to speed up the payment of their projects.

Shivute argued that some of the veterans are ageing and want to benefit from the project during their lifetime.

Oshana Police Regional Commander, Commissioner Naftal Sakaria, has cautioned businesses to ensure they double-check payments and confirm the availability of funds in their accounts before releasing goods.
