The Ministry of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication, and Social Welfare handed over equipment to 17 income-generating projects in Omaheke Region to help them grow their businesses.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Omaheke Governor Pijoo Nganate stressed that the donation will empower the beneficiaries, whose benefits will trickle down to a better standard of living and contribute to the overall economic vitality of the region.

"But beyond the economic benefits, these income-generating activities foster a sense of pride and independence; they encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, paving the way for future generations to build the foundation we lay today. It is my hope that these resources will inspire creativity and drive within each of you, leading to diversified incomes and improved livelihoods."
