Angola defeated Namibia by a resounding 5-0 scoreline to lift the 2024 Hollywoodbets COSAFA Cup in Gqeberha, South Africa.

The much-anticipated COSAFA Cup final between Angola and Namibia got off to a flying start for the Palancas Negras in the 12th minute when Pedro Francisco capitalized on Kamajanda Ndisiro's error.

Brave Warriors defender Charles Hambira's foul in the penalty box led to a penalty for Angola. Depu calmly slotted home on the stroke of halftime, doubling Angola's lead.

In the second half, Victor Pedro punished the Warriors for their lack of concentration with a free header in the 58th minute.

Ivan Kamperipa was sent off for a reckless tackle after a VAR review.

From the subsequent free kick, Pedro arrowed the ball into the roof of the net, giving Ndisiro no chance in the 67th minute.

Keliano Manuel rounded off the scoring in the 70th minute, finishing off a brilliant passage of play.

Champions Angola received $500,000, while the Brave Warriors ended as silver medallists, receiving $250,000.

Both coaches appreciated their teams' performances.
