The Dreams Social Football League, focused on community talent development, aims to continue expanding and growing significantly.

However, this growth is hindered by significant financial challenges, prompting a call for sponsors to support the league's continued success and development.

The Dreams Social Football League promotes sportsmanship, healthy living, and community engagement. Within less than 24 months since its establishment, the league has grown from 8 to 12 teams this season.

Despite appearances, running day-to-day affairs proves challenging.

League officials revealed to NBC Sport that they face a substantial N$30,000 fee to utilize the field, which has become burdensome. The field lacks proper grass for football play, adequate sanitary facilities, and seating for technical teams and spectators.

At today's match day, concluding the first round at Ella Du Plessis Secondary School Sport field, League President Shalom Amutenya expressed the need for sponsors to assist financially. This support would alleviate their heavy financial burden.

League Commissioner Laban Reen added that assistance is also required for field and surrounding area maintenance.

They believe that with sponsors onboard, the league can reduce financial strain and focus on expanding participation and talent development.

They express gratitude to current sponsor Global Parts for their unwavering support.
