The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation welcomed Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, the Acting King of Perlis, Malaysia. 

The visit culminated in a successful agreement to exchange programming and strengthen bilateral ties.

During his visit, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin highlighted his state's efforts to promote tourism in Malaysia over the coming years. 

He emphasised the importance of fostering stronger ties and enhancing bilateral relations between Namibia and Malaysia.

"The effort to recognise and extend to each other and share prosperity is the key to success together, if this concept works family and is accepted by all, it will be the best thing to unite the world as the lead of the global family also is quality gab between countries; this is in line with strengthening of institutions and justice, which is also one of the sustainable development goals."

In discussions with nbc's Director General Stanley Similo, the Acting King expressed interest in developing exchange programmes and reciprocal visits between the two countries. 

"We have four of our students visiting and taking part in two of your universities, and as we speak now, Lingukogwe University has a presence in Namibia. After discussions and meetings, there's 21 students from the NBC that are currently taking part in technical studies aimed at making sure that we advance the technical capabilities of the nbc which is a very good thing for us."

The visit of the Malaysian monarch to nbc headquarters on Cullinan Street not only symbolises the growing relationship between Namibia and Malaysia but also opens new avenues for cooperation and development in the years to come.
