The Namibia Basketball Federation (NBF) has concluded a coaching clinic in Windhoek, led by FIBA instructors from South Africa and the USA.

The week-long clinic, held from 15th 24th July at the Unam Gym Hall, provided coaches from across Namibia with an opportunity to update their knowledge and skills based on the latest FIBA regulations.

This marked the first such initiative since 2012. The clinic was made possible through sponsorship from the Olympic Solidarity Foundation, channeled through the Namibian National Olympic Committee and Sports Commission.

This collaboration demonstrates a commitment to the development of basketball in Namibia.

NBF President Nigel Mubita and Secretary General Titus Mwahafa expressed their appreciation to all participants.

FIBA instructors Craig Daniels from South Africa and Lazare Adingono from USA also commended the participants' enthusiasm and engagement throughout the program.

Coaches echoed the sentiment, highlighting the value of the training.

They, along with the other participants, took a written test on the final day and received certificates of attendance.
