After walking away as the Rugby Africa Cup bronze medalists, Namibia's rugby national coach, Allister Coetzee, reflected on the recent encounters they faced in Kampala, Uganda.

Namibia faced Zimbabwe in the Rugby Africa Cup semifinal.

They started strong but eventually fell short, losing the game 32-10.

Coach Allister Coetzee reflected on how the game plan's execution did not work in their favor. With hope seemingly lost, Namibia prepared for their second encounter against Kenya.

In that game, Namibia emerged victorious in the third-place playoff, claiming the bronze medal at the African spectacle with a 38-27 win over Kenya. In the end, Zimbabwe's Sables were crowned Rugby Africa Cup 2024 Champions after defeating Algeria 29-3.
