The Swapo Party National Leader assigned to the ||Kharas Region, Tom Alweendo, has urged the electorate to entrust the party with another term of office come the 27 November national and presidential elections.

Speaking at a mini-rally at Oranjemund, Alweendo said Swapo continues to improve citizens' lives. 

A convoy of Swapo Party members paraded the streets of the southern mining town of Oranjemund ahead of the mini-rally.

Despite windy and chilly weather conditions, Swapo Party members and 

"Now I know, as it was said, we have competition; there are those people who also want to rule now, but we have an advantage as the Swapo Party because, if you look back, the party has been in government for the last 34 years, and for us, those who have been here for the last 34 years, of course, we know there are changes the party has brought about. But, we also know that there are things that we need to do more of; for example, we know we have a lot of unemployment in the country, but luckily the Swapo Party has a plan because of our experience."

Swapo Party Central Committee member Usko Nghaamwa called on Namibians to go and vote for the party and its candidate, Dr. Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, at the 27 November polls. 

"Our motherland, whatever colour you are, whatever language you speak, this is our country. That's why we say Hanganane Hanganane; let's unite."
