After hosting their inaugural Paraclimbing event, paraclimbing Coach David Bishop says they aim to put Namibia on the map by introducing the sport to the nation.
Paraclimbing is sport climbing for people with disabilities.
Namibia's Urban Friction, in collaboration with the Namibia Paralympic Committee and the Run Along Foundation, hosted their inaugural Paraclimbing event recently, with the aim of creating a national side for the country.
Para Climbing Coach David Bishop said there is also a plan to register the Namibia Sports Climbing Federation that will cater to the needs of these paraclimbers.
Bishop called on the corporate world to rally behind the initiative.
