The National Unity Democratic Organisation (NUDO) has announced the appointment of an interim committee that will be responsible for organising the postponed 2024 NUDO Congress.

The nine committee members are Tjizapouzeu Uahupirapi as Chairperson, Lazarus Kaapama as Vice Chairperson, Ngavipangurue Makari as Secretary, Nduno Mbaha as Vice Secretary, Okeri Uakurama as Treasurer, Mbahimua Kamukuendjandje as Vice Treasurer, and George Muesee, Ernie Putuaota, and Samuel Kaijața as organisers.

The committee is tasked with overseeing the day-to-day operations of the party and all necessary arrangements for the Congress, including the compilation of the list of delegates, submission of required reports, ensuring that those branches that launched complaints with the previous leadership are in good standing, and scheduling the Congress within the next three weeks.
