Officials of the Southern Volleyball Association are now calling for more of its players to be given the opportunity to play for the national team.

We also want to excite people when they hear about a tournament hosted in the south, whether in Lüderitz, Oranjemund, or any other town. I hope this game becomes recognized as one of the main sports in the regions." he said.
Only five teams participated in the end-of-season league games due to financial constraints, but rural-based Hoachanas Volleyball Club was determined to compete and not just participate.
Coach Hoachanas Volleyball Club Jeremias Rheent said that "Hoachanas Volleyball Club is here not just for participation but to win. Our commitment is to strive to win, and for any team watching us, we are dedicated to showing that we are here to win."
