The Namibia Sport Commission's Chief Administrator, Freddy Mwiya, has called on federations to promptly submit their athletes' registrations for the upcoming Namibia Annual Sport Awards.

The registration process for the awards, which recognize the outstanding achievements of Sportsmen and Women, Associations, Federations, and Administrators, is now open.

Federations and individuals are encouraged to register on time to avoid last-minute hassles.

The registration period began on July 5th, and with only two weeks remaining until the deadline, Mwiya urged those who have yet to submit their registrations to do so promptly.

He also encouraged broadcast and print media houses to submit their work before the closing date.

The Namibia Annual Sport Awards, a prestigious event known for its glitz and glamour, will be held in Windhoek on 23rd November at Windhoek Country Club & Resort.

The registration deadline is September 20, 2024.
