All logistics are in place for the NBC Fun Run, which is set to take place on Saturday morning, September 28th, in Keetmanshoop.

With a growing number of participants already registered through the NBC website, organizers have indicated that the event is expected to attract a significant turnout.

The primary objective of the NBC Fun Run is to promote the health and wellness of NBC employees while also fostering stronger ties with residents of the region and visitors.

“ Initially, this idea was conceived to engage the communities where we broadcast as the national broadcaster. Whether it's TV or radio, we want to connect with our stakeholders and create a sense of community cohesion. That's why this event was established. Moreover, it aims to promote health and fitness within the community, as a healthy community benefits everyone” Nbc’s employee engagement officer Lucy K Rocco said.

Participants will have the option to choose from the 21km and 10km runs, or the shorter 7km and 5km distances.
