Namibian Broadcasting Corporation's (nbc) Director General Stanley Similo hosted a thank-you party to recognise the commitment and diligence of staff at the nbc's Keetmanshoop Contribution Centre. 

"Because within what nbc does as a family, I have been saying, we will always be as good and great as we are performing. And the greatness I think nbc has experienced for the past four, I think three years or so came as a result of your individual inputs into what we do. I proudly say today everybody is extremely proud of what nbc is all about. Everybody wants to be part of what we do. You go back six, seven years. This was mostly one of the organisation that was, so to speak, written off. And it took focus, it took pain, it took a lot of sacrifices to get to where it is, that's why today, where we are, we can all just head extremely high."

nbc Regional Head, Natangwe Jimmy, said, "I see vibrant colours, and I am happy, we are celebrating the theme, we are celebrating revival, we are celebrating new things."

A freelancer at Keetmanshoop Contribution Centre, Dawn Kruger, added, "Your dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence are truly commendable, and it was a pleasure to connect with each one of you. A special thank you to DG for these inspiring words and your unwavering support."
