The Vice Chairperson of the New Era Board, Edwin Tjiramba, says enhancing stakeholder participation is vital in shaping the country's development agenda.

Speaking at the stakeholders' engagement at Gobabis, Tjiramba pointed out that information dissemination is critical nowadays and it requires all stakeholders to be on the same page.

Tjiramba pointed out that another aspect that needs attention is how to manage stakeholders' relationships.

"What are the stakeholder issues, and what mitigating measures are we taking to manage those relationships? Now, at the New Era as a news agency, we have many faces, but for the stakeholders in Omaheke, and Gobabis, what are your issues? How is this newspaper serving you to the fullest? We have the farmers; we have the business communities; we have the informal settlement; everybody has to be filled with information. Information is changing; the way we consume it now is not the same way we consumed it a few years ago."

The Chief Executive Officer at New Era Publication Corporation, Christof Maletsky, stated that they are working tirelessly to establish good rapport with local communities.

"How can we help tell your story better? We want to tell your stories, and how can we do that? We know such stories if there are others to be told. How can we help you? This will tell us how we can improve on this. Some of you are the captains of industries, so it is a privilege to have you here, or even just someone who is selling the New Era on behalf of us here as an outlet. We are thankful for engaging you here."
