Justice Hosea Angula has been appointed as a judge of the Supreme Court, effective 1 December.

President Nangolo Mbumba made the appointment following the recommendation of the Judicial Service Commission.

Justice Angula’s legal career spans 39 years, beginning with his admission to practice as an attorney in the former Supreme Court of South West Africa. He currently holds the position of Deputy Judge-President of the High Court, a role he has fulfilled since 2015.

In addition to his current responsibilities, Justice Angula has also served as an acting judge of the Supreme Court since his appointment in 2018.
