Today, November 19th, marks the global observance of World Toilet Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about the critical issue of access to safe sanitation—a challenge that affects billions of people worldwide.

With 3.6 billion individuals still lacking access to properly managed sanitation, the 2024 theme, "Accelerating Sanitation Solutions," calls on governments, organisations, and individuals to take urgent action to address this pressing need.
