To ensure safety and maintain order during the festive season, Ohangwena Police recently rolled out an operation to provide a safer environment for all Namibians and tourists during and after the festive season.

Launching the operation, Ohangwena Police Commander, Commissioner Ottilie Kashuupulwa, said it underscores the importance of collective efforts to foster a secure and enjoyable atmosphere for all Namibians.

Commissioner Kashuupulwa said the police will take all necessary measures to prevent crime, manage crowds, and maintain traffic flow during the festive holiday.

She urged the public to work closely with the police by adhering to laws and to report any suspicious activities on time.

Ohangwena Governor Sebastian Ndeitunga called on leaders to assist the police in maintaining law and order by reinforcing rules and regulations within their respective areas.
