The leadership of Traditional Authorities has wished all Namibians peace and prosperity for the year 2025.
As the year ends, the Chairperson of the Council of Traditional Leaders, Gaob Immanuel ǂNu-Axa |Gâseb, and Vice Chairperson Omukwaniilwa Fillemon Nangolo extended their season's greetings to President Nangolo Mbumba, President-elect Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, government officials, traditional leaders, and all Namibians.
The Council of Traditional Leaders, in its message, emphasised unity and goodwill as the nation transitions to the New Year.
Meanwhile, Swanu President, Evilastus Kaaronda, pledged to tackle labour injustices and unemployment in the new year.
Swanu has called for renewed efforts to address and get rid of the exploitative labour-hire system.
Heading into 2025, the party expressed its readiness to support the workers in the fight for economic freedom and workplace dignity while reaffirming to promote social and economic justice.
