Swapo Regional Coordinator for Otjozondjupa, Imms Namaseb, has expressed concern about the performance of the councilors in the region.

Speaking at a consultation meeting with regional and local authority councillors in Otjiwarongo, Namaseb highlighted that the votes cast for the party in the previous elections suggest that the councillors are not effectively implementing developmental activities in alignment with local authority programs. He specifically emphasized his concern regarding the local authority councilors.

According to Namaseb, the Swapo manifesto serves as a guideline for implementing policies and programs effectively.

He urged each councilor representing Swapo to report on the number of bylaws they have implemented since taking office.

Namaseb stressed that it is time for them to provide answers to their constituents about their accomplishments during their tenure as councilors.
