Spiritual leaders from different church denominations in Keetmanshoop, joined by congregants, hosted a memorial service in remembrance of the late Founding President and Father of the Namibian Nation, Dr. Sam Nujoma.

The spiritual leaders offered words of comfort to the Nujoma family and the Namibian nation at large while paying their tributes to the late statesman during a memorial service held at the ZTT AME Church.

The mourners honoured Dr. Nujoma by dedicating church hymns to him.

Delivering the sermon, Pastor Katrina |Goagoses likened Dr. Nujoma to the biblical Joseph and Martin Luther King, highlighting his unwavering commitment to his dream of liberating Namibia from the yoke of the former South African apartheid regime.
