Namibia and Cuba will continue to strengthen their sound historical relations, which have seen cooperation in various fields over the years.

This was reaffirmed during the meeting between President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah and the Prime Minister of Cuba, Manuel Marrero Cruz, at State House.

Prime Minister Marrero Cruz led the high-level Cuban delegation to attend the inauguration of President Nandi-Ndaitwah as Namibia's 5th Head of State.
