President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah is happy with the cooperation of local communities in flood-hit regions, as the government is working to mitigate the impact.
Dr. Nandi-Ndaitwah says she received reports from governors in the different regions, reaffirming the government's efforts in line with the Disaster Risk Management policies.
The President made the remarks during a courtesy call by the United Kingdom's outgoing High Commissioner, Charles Moore, emphasising the cooperation of the two countries in the fight against climate change.
