The Deputy Minister of Urban and Rural Development, Evelyn !Nawases-Taeyele, has officially launched the Omaruru Municipality's five-year strategic plan.

This strategic plan emphasizes the continued growth and development of the town. 

Deputy Prime Minister John Mutorwa has urged members of the ||Kharas Regional Disaster Risk Management Committee to familiarise themselves with applicable laws to bolster disaster preparedness in the region. 

Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila says disasters, whether natural or human-induced, know no boundaries, nor do they discriminate based on social, economic, or geographic factors.
