Namibia is celebrating a proud moment as Miss World Namibia, Selma Kamanya, has advanced to the final round of the Miss World Head-to-Head Challenge, taking place today in Hyderabad, India.

Kamanya is now ranked in the Top 20 globally and second in Africa, just behind South Africa. This follows strong results in the first round of the Head-to-Head and Beauty with a Purpose challenges.

The Beauty with a Purpose segment highlights contestants’ humanitarian work. Kamanya’s project focuses on youth empowerment and uplifting communities in Namibia. Her efforts have gained international recognition and made her a standout candidate on the world stage.

Her success places Namibia among the top nations at this year’s Miss World pageant, which features contestants from 108 countries.

The Miss World 2025 Grand Finale will be held on 31 May at the HITEX Exhibition Center in Hyderabad.
