Police in the Ohangwena Region have arrested a 24-year-old woman in the early hours of this morning after she allegedly killed her 30-year-old brother at Oshikuni village, Okongo constituency.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect returned home from a cucashop and found the deceased sleeping in their mother’s bedroom, sharing the same bed with other family members.

The suspect then began insulting their mother. When the deceased asked her to stop, she refused, leading to a heated argument.

During the confrontation, the suspect reportedly took a knife and stabbed the deceased once in the chest, causing his immediate death.

Police investigations are ongoing.
