Miss Namibia 2025, Johanna Swartbooi, arrived to a warm welcome in the Osona residential area on Saturday.

Family, friends, and supporters greeted Swartbooi upon her return from Ongwediva, the site of the pageant.

A large crowd of excited Osona residents came together at the shopping complex to witness and welcome Miss Namibia for bringing the crown home.

Miss Namibia 2025, Johanna Swartbooi, has been living in Osona since 2019 with her mother.

The 28-year-old Swartbooi said she made sure to put in more effort into preparation for the pageant with her belief in prayer.

Swartbooi received gifts from her fellow Osona residents, who described her as a multi-talented individual who excels in both pageantry and business.

Okahandja Mayor Beatrice Katungondo says Swartbooi's win brought joy to the town and encouraged young girls to never stop dreaming. 

Swartbooi's welcoming event was organised by Okamita Properties.
