The court case of the 18-year-old Downey !Naruseb, who is accused of killing six of his family members at Usakos, has been postponed to October 14 for further police investigations.

!Naruseb, who remains in custody at the Usakos police station, is accused of committing the heinous crimes when he was a teenager at the start of this year.

He faces multiple counts of murder, attempted murder, and arson following a fire in March in which six of his relatives died, including his grandmother, his twin sister, and minor children.

!Naruseb allegedly locked the house where the victims were sleeping before setting it alight and continued to physically attack them.

Magistrate George Ndaile presided while Steven Kamunima was the prosecutor.
