The government, through the Justice and Labour Relations Ministry, has handed over eight vehicles to traditional authorities to support their community courts and strengthen the traditional justice system.

The handover, conducted by Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare, highlights the government's commitment to strengthening traditional justice systems as a vital part of the national judiciary.

The vehicles were allocated to the Kambazembi, Maharero, Masubia, Ondonga, Oukwanyama, Ovambanderu, Uukolonkadhi, and Uukwambi traditional authorities.

Leaders from each community received the vehicles on behalf of their respective courts.

They commended the government for coming to their assistance, as they used to travel long distances to issue and deliver summons for community courts.
