"The documentary, the way I liked it, is more about telling the history of Namibia's liberation struggle. I really like it in that way because that is what we need our people to know, the current and the future generations. And through that they will be empowered. Of course I have been part of the process. I have made my contribution, which I did not do for recognition but because I felt I must be part of it. I am a Namibian, and I love my country."

The President further emphasised the significance of the creative industry in driving economic growth and the plans for a film city.

"It is really an industry which is our economics. And one sector of the creative industry which has a multiplier effect. Talk about the film industry. You can imagine if you develop your film industry how many jobs are going to be created. Just to look at the different sections and what is required in the film industry. time comes and we develop a film city with our 3 million, you might find that the majority of the Namibians will be taken up by the creative industry."

Roger Gertze is the Managing Director of MultiChoice Namibia.
