The First National Bank of Namibia has contributed N$150,000 towards the third Namibia Health Exhibition, taking place from the 14th to the 15th of next month.

The exhibition serves as a national platform for raising health awareness, showcasing innovation, and fostering collaboration among public and private stakeholders in the health sector.

Naambo Amakutiwa, the Chairperson of the Namibia Health Exhibition, explained that it "is a place where we bring health care workers together to see the new developments in health and the new technologies in health. We host workshops, and it's also open to the public. We hold it annually, and this year we'll be having it at the Mercure Hotel from the 14th to the 15th of November."

First Rand Foundation Coordinator Rosa Kantema said the bank's contribution forms part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, adding that health is one of FNB's key focus pillars.

"As first-run, we believe in how changes everything. So, when we can contribute in assisting any way to aiding organisations in the health industry or in any industry, apart from all the other pillars of strength, that is what we stand for. So for us, help really changes everything."
