Epukiro Post 3 residents have expressed gratitude for the renovation and reopening of their community hall.
The renovations were done at a cost of about N$1.3 million and are part of a broader development drive in the Epukiro Constituency.
Other efforts include improvements in agriculture, rural electrification, health and infrastructure.
The community hall renovation has been welcomed, as it provides a vital space for community activities and meetings, contributing positively to the social fabric of Epukiro Post 3.
This development, alongside ongoing projects such as water provision and infrastructure upgrades, residents say, reflects the constituency office's commitment to enhancing service delivery and living conditions at the settlement.
The N$1.3 million renovations entail a hall, seven manholes and five bistro shelters around the settlement.
The Epukiro Constituency Councillor, Packy Pakarae, reiterated the importance of renovating the hall, stating that the project forms part of broader development strategies aimed at transforming the face of Epukiro.
Pakarae also mentioned an ongoing project with NamWater to ensure the provision of quality water to the settlement.
