President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has highlighted the importance of strengthening early childhood education and development.

Dr. Nandi-Ndaitwah, while on leave, engaged the Onheleiwa community at Nghiwete Kindergarten in the Okongo Constituency.

Since its establishment 27 years ago, Nghiwete Kindergarten has received consistent support from President Nandi-Ndaitwah.

She invested in practical projects, including classroom renovations, the construction of additional learning spaces, teachers' houses, and a school kitchen.

Her recent engagement focused on education, community well-being and everyone's role in nurturing Namibia's youth.

The Presidency emphasised that the President is fully active in her duties and outreach and remains ready to serve.
