Cabinet has announced several key decisions aimed at strengthening governance, improving infrastructure, and enhancing service delivery.

The announcements were made during the first Cabinet briefing of 2026.

The decisions include outcomes of the 2025 Cabinet Retreat, approval of major infrastructure projects, road safety interventions, and the tabling of annual reports from several state-owned enterprises.

The cabinet also approved the acceleration of the Angola-Namibia Interconnector project to support energy security and endorsed recommendations aimed at improving road safety nationwide.
